Filling
- 5-6 Medium Apples
- 1 Lemon zest
- Juice from 1/2 of lemon
- ½ cup Brown Sugar packed
- 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ cup Flour
Topping
- 1 ½ cup Flour
- 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
- 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 ½ cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup Cooled Brown Butter
Preheat your oven to 375°
In a large bowl, combine: apples, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
Mix in the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and flour. Toss until apples are coated.
Pour apple filling into pie dish (or 8x8 pan)
Bake for 40 minutes.
