Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 5-6 Medium Apples
  • 1 Lemon zest
  • Juice from 1/2 of lemon
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Flour

Topping

  • 1 ½ cup Flour
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup Cooled Brown Butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°
  • In a large bowl, combine: apples, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  • Mix in the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and flour. Toss until apples are coated.
  • Pour apple filling into pie dish (or 8x8 pan)
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
